When our toddler’s Mocka bed broke after less than 18 months of use, we spent about a week mulling over various bunk bed options online before deciding to snap out of our analysis paralysis and head up the coast to Paula’s. With furniture, there’s nothing quite like viewing it in real life, and within minutes of entering the store we had made our choice. Caroline helped sort us out with delivery and a mattress, while keeping our little girl entertained with colouring pages and even sending her off with a little bag of goodies including a pen and pad. Even the delivery guys were fab when the bunks arrived just days later.
Having assembled and stacked the bunks myself, solo, I do wish I’d taken Caroline’s advice and sprung for the (quite reasonable) assembly fee! Despite being time-consuming with a toddler underfoot, though, assembly was straightforward, and having wound in every screw by hand, I feel totally comfortable that the beds are truly bomb-proof. Really happy with our choice, and will definitely be back for a peep at some sofas when the time comes!

Great selection of good quality furniture. A lot to choose from. Staff were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and listened well to our preferences. They were happy to let us browse at our own pace until needed. Will definitely shop here again. They have a small cafe here too. Handy if you want to sit for awhile and mull over your choices.

Carolyn helped us make a decision on what Lazy Boy to choose. She was excellent, showing us different chairs etc.

Love this. Looks good with our sofa and so comfortable. Great for extra seating with the teenagers. Our cats love it too.
